THE WHY:
Adidas aimed to celebrate the groundbreaking story of Mikel Brown Jr., who made history by signing a landmark NIL deal with the brand. The goal was to highlight Mikel’s journey while showcasing Adidas’ commitment to empowering young athletes in the evolving NIL space. With ambitions of launching a compelling series, Adidas and Seros sought to capture the cultural and emotional significance of Mikel’s story, blending powerful storytelling with visually dynamic content to connect with both traditional audiences and the next generation of fans.
EXECUTION:
We built the series around the idea that every athlete has a unique story shaped by their environment, challenges, and ambition. Through cinematic visuals and intimate narratives, we connected Adidas' iconic legacy to the next generation of talent, showcasing how the brand plays a pivotal role in empowering these athletes to succeed.
IMPACT:
The campaign garnered approximately 300,000 views on Instagram and TikTok ahead of its YouTube premiere. It spotlighted Mikel Brown Jr.'s historic NIL deal with Adidas, resonating with young athletes, sports enthusiasts, and digital communities. The project positioned Adidas as a leader in the evolving NIL space and set the foundation for a potential series exploring how NIL opportunities shape the future of sports.
